Earlier in the year, PROGRESS and marketing agency alexandrapatrick, won the pitch to create a new brand identity for Romney Marsh. The project was put out to tender by the Romney Marsh Partnership, working alongside partners in the Heritage Lottery Funded, Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme (led by Kent Wildlife Trust).
Supported by Marsh Million funding, this project focuses on enhancing the visitor economy to encourage local economic growth. Our remit was to create a dynamic identity that supports existing businesses and communicates why Romney Marsh is a great place to live, work and visit.
We created a distinctive logo representing the sea, sky, land and wind along with a font that echoed the traditional typeface of the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. The brand identity was then rolled out across a bespoke website that includes an integrated map and events calendar.
