Earlier this year, we were approached by Hilton Astana in Kazakhstan to create the brand identity and application for three outlets at the new Hilton hotel in the heart of the city’s EXPO complex.
The first of these outlets was Axis, the lounge and bar area. This elegant yet relaxed space forms the heart of the hotel, with a mixture of staying guests and EXPO visitors. The space offers both casual dining and a to-go service so we were asked to create a brand identity that could work across a range of collateral.
Taking inspiration from the striking gold décor and the geometric wall patterns, we created a bold logo that feels both contemporary and classic. It is applied in gold with a rose gold diamond stop that echoes the diamond shapes displayed on the walls.
The colour palette and use of geometric shapes was carried through to the brand application and the design of the menus and takeaway packaging to create an eye-catching suite of brand assets.
