Urbano and PROGRESS are proud to announce the launch of a new magazine: O.

In 2011, Urbano was created and has grown to become London’s largest independent business network with over 5,000 Member and Associate Companies, and a pan-sector representation across all sizes of business, from PLC to SME, start-up to established names.

Urbano was brought into existence to do two things: create connections and develop opportunities. It brings together companies in different communities – Business, Finance, People, Build, Media, Tech, Health & Hospitality - and those that run them to share new ideas and best practice, network and develop new business opportunities.

On its fifth birthday, Urbano put this commitment to paper in the form of a magazine. The letter O dates from the Phoenicians and is said to resemble the eye and, like the O in Urbano, represents the strength of connections and communities.

With creative direction courtesy of Progress, it shines a spotlight on modern, forward-looking companies, showing readers where to find the clues to making their own company’s future brighter.

Free and distributed quarterly, it will be found in the foyers of some of London and the UK’s best companies and places where business people meet, including workspaces, private members’ clubs and venues, and handed out to the many hundreds who attend Urbano’s events.

Mark Herring, Founder & CEO of Urbano, commented on the launch:

“I want this magazine to be a microscope on the real issues facing companies today, regardless of their size, sector, or status and to highlight the best ideas, innovations and current thinking featuring articles written by those that do rather than preach.”
