We have recently been working on the branding and identity for a new café and brasserie named Roca at the Berlin Waldorf.
Set in a location that was the legendary 1920’s meeting point for the capital’s intellectuals, artists and writers such as Bertold Brecht, Kurt Tucholsky and Billy Wilder, Roca maintains its original spirit of a bohemian café but has been updated to a modern, relaxed and contemporary setting.
Building on the interior architecture plans, we created a brand identity and suite of collateral that reflected the natural, effortless and informal atmosphere.
Gregor Andreewitch, General Manager, Waldorf Astoria Berlin is confident that the branding identity sets the right tone: “We asked Progress to develop a modern and elegant brand identity that perfectly complemented the interior architecture design. Daniel visited us in Berlin to capture the brief and a week later Progress had presented initial creative routes to us. We are very happy with the results and can’t wait to see guests enjoying the Roca experience.”
