With the continued redevelopment of Folkestone, one of the newest and exciting projects to be opened to the public is the Harbour Arm; the refurbished historic harbour wall (and one time wartime train station for troops deployed overseas) which has until recently been derelict for decades.
After a multi-million pound refurbishment, the arm opened in mid August. It's open to the public every weekend until mid autumn, with live music, food, bars, art and performances.
PROGRESS was approached to create the branding and collateral for this exciting site. As well as the identity, we worked with typographical artists to create the stunning directional signage. We've also worked with local filmmaker Jon Page to create this video giving an overview to the site, branding and people enjoying the facility.
The opening has been a huge success with visitor numbers exceeding all expectations as the good weather also encouraged by locals and those from further afield to come and check it out.
The site will continued to be developed over the next few years as more structural work and visitor attractions are established.
