We have been working on an exciting new project at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, developing the brand identities for three new outlets. We’ll have more on each of those in the next couple of months but first up: Bar Lulu…
Named after Louise Brooks, arguably the world’s most famous flapper, the bar references the 1920s with its nod to Art Deco design and the rum-running of Florida’s prohibition. The interior architects for Lulu set out with a bold mission for the bar: that it would be sunken, sexy and chic.
Responding to the client’s brief that Lulu’s identity needed to be sophisticated, intimate and feminine, we created a brand development and collateral with a subtle reference to the 1920s that also reflected the urbane, contemporary nature of the bar.
Martin Wormull, General Manager at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, is looking forward to Lulu’s launch: “Conrad Hotels & Resorts offer guests experiences inspired by their own sophisticated surroundings. Lulu Bar absolutely meets that brief in offering a unique environment for our guests and we look forward to seeing the branded elements from Progress in situ.”
